Afroshop Teleworld Freiburg was built on a vision and a community's hunger for home.

My name is Alison Ifeanyi Aliukwu. I came from Nigeria with little more than ambition and a deep understanding of what it means to live far from where you grew up. I started with an internet café, a place where the African diaspora in Freiburg could stay connected to family back home. But I noticed something: people weren't just missing their loved ones. They were missing their food.

I saw the gap before anyone else did. Slowly, deliberately, I transformed the shop, shelf by shelf and product by product, until the internet café became something the city had never seen before: a fully stocked African and Caribbean grocery store, built from scratch by someone who understood the need from the inside.

Today, Afroshop Teleworld carries over 800 authentic products, from suya spice and egusi to Jamaican jerk seasoning and Caribbean rum cake mix. Our cosmetics and hair range celebrates natural African beauty, and our MoneyGram and Ria money transfer services keep families connected across continents.

Conveniently located on the first floor above Freiburg's main train station, we are easy to reach from anywhere in the city.
